Riding the bike trails around Ridgeland is such an beautiful and peaceful experience. You can ride along the Ross Barnett Reservior, through the woods, or along the Natchez Trace.

Start your ride at the end with the lake. Go down a short ride to a parking area that seem to go to nowhere in particular. Follow the sidewalk to the back right. It leads to the Arts Center 10/10. This is an awesome water or rest stop. You can park your bikes by the back door. After a tour of the bottom and top floors, head back out to the trail. Ride all the way down to the cabin. The restrooms were clean, very hot (Summer) but clean. We turned around at the cabin and headed back.

We walked along part of the trail. It was very good. The path was wide, did have a few cracks and mended cracks. On a bike you would need to be a bit careful,
So wished we had a bike so we could of went for a ride and enjoyed more of the trail. It looked fantastic.
We drove along the Natchez Trace Pkwy to see more and it was beautiful. A great drive as well.

The Ridgeland Bike trail follows the Natchez Trace. It is well maintained and has a lot of shade. This trail is great for walking, running, or riding bikes. Definitely recommend this trail.

Pleasant walks, great runs and good riding - this is an excellent trail system with over 10 miles of paved roads in pleasant, wooded surroundings with a few road-crossings.

For a Back-to-Nature Immersion, take a Walk or Bike this trail. Well-kept paved trails make for a mud free experience in all weather. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. Great for Alone Time or Grandchildren Time!

We used the city trails to navigate in and out of the Natchez trace and into town and nearby communities. They are convenient. It would help if maps were visible at a few more intersections. Overall, this is a well traveled and useful set of trails.

I'm lucky to live in a nearby neighborhood so I run on the trail at least once a week. Living near the western half of the trail, my runs have been mainly west of Highway 51.
This area has some great (and some challenging) features: Upon leaving Hwy 51 westbound, there is the climb to the Ridgeland water tower, or alternatively, a run through "Old Town" Ridgeland, with more hills. The latter takes you through a quiet neighborhood, and ultimately rejoin the trail at Sunnybrook Road, where a path takes you from the street by the gas station to rejoin the path. There you will also find a water fountain for adults, children and pets.
Going west, comes the steep climb over Interstate 55, along the bridge shared by (but separated from) the Natchez Trace Parkway. West of the Interstate, there is a walking/running path northbound along Highland Colony Parkway, skirting the beautiful Colony Park shopping area, From there, one can find peaceful running or walking routes along the streets west of HCP, rejoining the path at the southwest corner of St. Andrews School, at Greenwood Crossing.
Alternatively, continuing along the trail westbound, after crossing Highland Colony Parkway, there are undulating hills to Greenwood crossing. In between, there is a parking / rest area for the Parkway, and for visitors not living nearby, that's a convenient place to park the car to visit the trail.
West of the rest stop, Greenwood crossing and St. Andrews, the path is still hilly, but not as steep as the I-55 bridge or water tower approaches, It crosses Patterson's Crossing some distance to the west, then dips to White Oak Creek, across the bridge shared by North Agency Lane, then climbs back up and meanders toward its western terminus, past Livingston Road.

Greetings Cristian - Welcome to Mississippi. I'm not quite sure of the exact length. I suggest you Google Ridgeland Mississippi Bike Trail..............this routed me to a site mapmyride .... from here you will have access to all Ridgeland's bike trails, distance, location, routes etc.... Enjoy. Remember to hydrate to excess given the 100% humidity in Mississippi.
