We had a great two weeks in this villa with our extended family. It is a beautiful house in lovely grounds with lots of space. We lived and cooked and ate in the outside kitchen area and swam in the 15m pool several times a day. It was very comfortable, relaxing and easy going.
But the villa is not two minutes walk from the beach. Access to the little stony cove is steep and rough and takes about 10 minutes; it is not really suitable for anyone under about 12 or over about 65.
There is a good little beach a Guidaloca (about 5 minutes) which gets a bit crowded and an excellent sandy beach, very good for toddlers, just the other side of Castellammare – about 20 minutes.
The pool is not fenced. The kitchen equipment lacked some basics – only one decent (huge) kitchen knife. Only one ice tray, no small oven proof dishes, no potato peeler, cheese grater or chopping board (we bought and left them). The drinking glasses were all very small and in the hot... Plus
