The photos advertising this flat don't do the views justice, when I woke up the first morning I found them breath taking, with it's views across to the castle, nunnery and over the surrounding countryside. This apartment is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, and feels light and spacious, having a high ceilings with characterful wooden beams and terracotta floors.
Massimo (the owner) was great giving us invaluable information, and providing a friendly service. He met us late at night in the square, so we could follow his car to our holiday apartment, which is up a windy lane. He provided us with a welcome pack (thoughtfully with food for an evening meal in case we hadn't eaten) as well as breakfast items. The following morning he met us again to further explain the area, and provide us with invaluable information to visit Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Volterra.
Our children were 8 and 11, and had a fabulous stay. I would only hesitate... Plus
