Four of us stayed in this sweet hostel for only one night, as part of a road trip across Romania. Well located for the salt mines and spas, famous for their healing properties, the back garden of this lovely place sits right by the Tarnava Mica river and the sound of the water is as helpful to your sleep as the wonderful Romanian and Hungarian wines you're likely to enjoy.
Praid has a strong Hungarian/Romanian local population and it's possible to ask for a special goulash and noodles to be made, from scratch, just for your party, with Romanian/Hungarian hospitality extending to a good shot of Tsuica at the beginning of your meal.
