At about $64 per night all in, for 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, this place was good value for money. The place has lots going for it, though it isn't fancy. And while it isn't fancy, the home itself also isn't dirty or depressing. It's bright, fun and kinda cool. 2 of the 3 neighbouring properties could use some TLC though. Even so, the neighbourhood felt safe. And the home is well secured with good locks on all doors and burglar guards on all windows.
The location is a quick walk (3 minutes) to the main streets, so it is very convenient. By Mexican standards, it is a relatively quiet neighbourhood, so we slept better than often in Mexico. There were also lots of seating areas to choose from which was nice--depending on time of day, neighbourhood noise, etc. The owners were great via email and the cleaner Erindida, who speaks more English than most Mexicans, was very helpful.
Down sides: 3 of the 4 rooms got very hot during the peak heat of the afternoon... Plus
