We were lucky enough to spend a week at Villa Flores, 13 of us in total, to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday in August 2013. It was a wonderful find and we had a fabulous time.
Before we arrived
We were in fairly regular contact with the owner who was always quick to respond to our questions, offering useful information on the house and things we should consider before coming. A car is essential if you’re visiting Villa Flores – it is quite remote.
We arrived on a Sunday, but had been helpfully reminded that the shops would be closed and we made arrangements with some family who lived in Spain to get our shopping in before we got there.
