I stayed here with a group of six people in July of 2008.My husband knows Lee deLisle (the owner of the property from college and that is how we initially found out about his villa rental in Roccantica.
If you've ever imagined old town ancient mountain side Italian villages, then Roccantica is definitely where you need to visit. It's relatively close to Rome. We rented cars and used our GPS to venture through the countryside. It's definitely off the beaten path but very worth it.
Everything was arranged ahead of time. It's a nice sized villa with a living room with dining table in it, a small kitchen, another small room with another small table on the first floor and a laundry room with toilet, and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces with the villa as well. You'll never want to leave the terrace - the view is spectacular over the countryside valley. Sunset is picturesque.
