I stayed here with my two kids at the start of half term for 3 nights and we all totally enjoyed it.
House is really cosy (especially by the lit log burner) and there is plenty of space downstairs. It's really clean and there is ample crockery etc.
I only cooked breakfasts (3x full English each day) and the hob was great. Can't comment about the oven as The Buck Inn is far too close:)
The bedrooms are compact and if you wanted to spend much time in them you would probably say too small (especially the twin room). But all the bedding was clean and the beds were really comfy. So if you just need to sleep they are absolutely fine :)
Would I stay again? Yes - most definitely. The village is a great hub for walking; loads of great pubs for drinking and dining nearby but you may need a nominated driver to reap full benefit.
Taking the kids? Go to The Forbidden Corner. Great fun for all ages for about 3 hrs. Plus
