If you want an isolated location, then this COULD be for you. The 'cottage' is reached by in excess of a mile of lane in any direction which is barely wide enough for a family car and has high banks and hedges on both sides, and grass growing out of the middle in some places. To say it is a remote location is a mild version...the closest village (Trewidland) is a couple of miles and we were unable to find either a shop or a pub there. The closest shop appears to be in Liskeard and the closest pub is around 4-5 miles away, so certainly not walking distance!
On entering the property after a day out we found a very strong smell of what we think was heating oil just inside the door. There was no visible evidence of this but we did find that even with the windows open all night we were waking with severe headaches and sore throats and sinuses. There is also evidence of lichen/mould on the bottom 8-10 inches of the inside wall to the left of the door. The bathroom is a good size... Plus
