We liked this cottage very much. It's right on the estuary which makes for great lazy bird watching with a cup of tea, or just observing the ever-changing views as the tide advances and recedes. It's good for leisurely strolls exploring the bay, or for a more robust walk on the beautiful coastal path.
It has a homely feel and is spacious and well equipped. The wood burner works well and if you keep it in low, the place stays lovely and warm. It can get through some wood if you burn it hot.
The kitchen is new and still had some teething problems when we were there. On Thursday night the cooker kept tripping the electricity and we were unable to use it on the Friday (we left Sat). We talked with the owner who, as he could not resolve the problem then, treated us to supper at the Boathouse Restaurant on Friday night (which was very good - well worth a visit).
Definitely recommended if you want a restful, chilled out break in a wonderful location. Plus
