We stayed at the Rue Bres apartment in August 2012. As I said this would have been a 5* review if I was only commenting on the apartment and greeting we received in Nice. The apartment was modern, spacious, and in a fantastic location. We were promptly and warmly met by the agent James who welcomed us to Nice. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner (eg I had to clean out mouldy coffee remains from the coffee maker) but I am fairly easy going and this didn't spoil our enjoyment of the lovely apartment.
Unfortunately, when I was trying to get our £100 deposit back, I had to email several times, and when I did receive it, money was deducted for "bank charges" which had nothing to do with my bank transfer and quite frankly I don't believe existed. This was particularly annoying as we had put up with a broken elevator (walking up 5 floors!), a less than clean apartment, and I had even calmed an irate neighbour angrily accusing the agents (in very loud french) of...
