We have had several holidays in Villefranche, but as we had less lead-time this trip, our previous rentals were not available. We chose this apartment because we knew it was in a good location at the top of the old town (close to the 100 bus route) and very close to our favorite bakery for those morning necessities. The location also provided easy access downhill to the beach as well as all the old town restaurants. With all the good eating in Villefranche, that uphill walk at the end of the evening was a good thing!
The apartment looks exactly like the pictures, and while not overly equipped, it has enough of the basics for simple meal preparation. A coffee drip filter was provided, (although a coffee maker or cafetière would be a welcome addition.) The best feature is the covered terrace, which comfortably accommodates four people around the table and provides a lovely view of the bay and Cap Ferrat.
