Perfetta casa nel centro storico di Cortona, luminosa e solare, molto ben equipaggiata. Materassi e biancheria ottimi, riposo perfetto.
Da segnalare: vista magnifica, bagno super con doccia bellissima.
Non abbiamo utilizzato la cucina, am era attrezzata per qualunque ne cessità ( anche lavastoviglie)
Ci torneremo di sicuro, con nostra figlia ( c'è la possibilità di un terzo comodo letto su richiesta lo abbiamo visto preparare per gli ospiti successivi)

A quaint truly Tuscany home with all that is needed and more for a pleasant stay. Close to the two main piazzas. Much easier to navigate the hills in the 37 Casa Mia area than other places in Cortona. Ilaria is a wonderful host! We truly enjoyed meeting her and spending our visit to Cortona in 37 Casa Mia. We look forward to coming back to see Ilaria and enjoy our home away from home at 37 Casa Mia once again in the future. We appreciate all she did and all she provided for us.

Abbiamo scelto questo magnifico appartamento nel centro di Cortona per trascorrere un weekend di relax.
Siamo stati accolti dai proprietari, gentilissimi e molto disponibili. L'appartamento era molto pulito e fornito di ogni comfort. La posizione è ottima per visitare Cortona e non solo...

Living like a local
We stayed 5 days at Casa Mia a Cortona and really enjoyed it. After a hair raising journey through the winding Chianti hills .... getting used to driving a stick shift ... we were warmly welcomed by Ilaria and her family. She showed us around, gave us some tips and we were on our own in beautiful, fairytale Cortona. I was worried Cortona might be too overcrowded with tourists after all the Tuscan Sun hype but it couldn’t have been more perfect. Having our own place meant living like a local. Ilaria’s house is small but enough for 2. The bed is very comfortable and the views from the bedroom were fabulous! The downstairs tends to be dark and could use better light bulbs to make it brighter but the little kitchen worked fine for breakfast and the occasional meal. The location was absolutely perfect - close to the main Piazza but a little off the beaten path. Ilaria was very available if we had a problem or question and was very concerned that we have a nice stay.

Bellissima Casa Mia a Cortona
Mi è piaciuta tantissimo restare a Casa Mia a Cortona. La casa è così carina ed accogliente. L'ubicazione è perfetta. Si può raggiungere tutti i negozi e ristoranti a piede. C'è una viale dietro la casa con una bellissima vista panoramica della Val di Chiana. A qualunque ora del giorno o della notte la vista è sempre meravigliosa. Cortona è un paesino pieno di fascino e storia. La basilica di Santa Margherita è stupenda. Ilaria è stata gentilissima ed molto accogliente. Grazie di cuore!! Spero che possa tornare a 'Casa Mia' fra poco. Gio xx : )

Feel like a local....close to everything
If you want to close your front door, and walk out into your wonderful neighborhood feeling like you live in Cortona, this is the place for you! Your grocery market is around the corner, the restaurant where you will eat several meals is just up the road. The neighbors (with a gorgeous dog) may have a conversation with you...in Italian..just nod a lot if you don't speak the language... Enjoy a bottle of wine on the wall behind the apt looking over the entire valley. Parking is very close if you have a car. The walk into the main part of town takes just mins.
The apt is extremely comfortable...cute and workable little kitchen. Excellent WiFi...my grandson tested it well! The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very well planned. My daughter and teenage grandson and i were very comfortable. We felt safe enough in this great location to go out for dinner and leave my grandson at the apt. Often he would join us later to go watch a parade or go for gelato. Ilaria is the best host ever....like having local family!! She is welcoming and extremely helpful and informative. For one, two or even three people, this apt is perfect!!

The perfect pied a terre in Cortona
Casa Mia a Cortona was the perfect home base for my husband and I to visit southern Tuscany. Ilaria our hostess, was wonderful; from communications before our visit, to meeting us on arrival as well as throughout our stay and checkout.
The home is located on a quiet street 300m from the Piazza Signorelli, and close to the free parking lot outside Piazza Mazzina. The unit is fitted with a king size bed, four piece bath, small kitchenette and living room/dining room, over two floors. Ilaria has stocked the place well for either cooking in the unit or for light meals for breakfast. It's proximity to both piazzas as well as parking meant that we did not have to travel far for food, shopping or return after a day of driving around Tuscany.
The only drawback to the unit, and this is strictly a personal thing because we stayed there for almost two weeks, was no laundry facilities. We did hand wash, and Ilaria was quick to respond when asked about the closest laundromat. While it was in no means a deal breaker, next time I'll know to ensure we build some time into our schedule to do laundry. Overall this is the perfect place to stay to base your tour of southern Tuscany, and you cannot ask for a more perfect host than Ilaria!!

Un piccolo gioiello di Cortona
Casa Mia ha un nome veramente indicato perchè ci si sente proprio a casa.
La casa è curatissima sotto tutti gli aspetti, ha un soggiorno con angolo cottura al piano terra che permette di pranzare o semplicemente prendere un caffè nel massimo confort, mentre al piano di sopra c'è una bella e comoda camera da letto dotata anche di cassaforte ma la chicca maggiore è il bagno che ha una doccia spettacolare che chiede solo di essere provata....altro aspetto importante è che la casa si trova in centro ma rimane comunque in un angolo piuttosto tranquillo e silenzioso concedendo sonni tranquilli. Infine la signora Ilaria è sempre gentilissima e disponibilissima... andate non ve ne pentirete.....

E' stato un vero piacere accogliere nella nostra dimora di Cortona, persone così gentili, educate, rispettose come voi! Condividere la nostra casa, che curiamo con tanto impegno, ci rende davvero felici, specialmente quando il nostro impegno è ripagato da considerazioni come quelle che avete voluto lasciare qui. Grazie davvero per averci scelto, e speriamo sul serio di potervi accogliere ancora ogni volta che lo desideriate! A presto dunque...
