Just a stones throw from the coast(10 mins), but far enough away to be in a peaceful location to enjoy excellent Portugese wines and some food which in the main we cooked on a large stone barbie unit, whilst relaxing by a beautifully maintained pool.
If you want to eat, you have a choice of inside your apartment or outside, where there is two covered areas, if you require shade.
There are two small wings to the main farm house, we stayed in one, which had good free Wi Fi access, which in my opinion, is a must(free) when we are looking for rooms.
Doug and Jean are the hosts and maintain a low profile or if you wish they can help you with information with local festivals etc.
Very friendly greeting and provided some goodies for us on our arrival. We would go again.
