We were a little late arriving after a difficult journey but our host was patiently waiting for us and showed us around the house and explained where every thing was and how to operate all the controls.
He had even left some provisions to get us through the night as all the local shops were shut. The house is exceptionally well equipped, with most of the contents new as the house has recently been renovated. It is beautifully situated in a large garden with lemon, orange and olive trees. It is a very peaceful area surrounded by farm land yet only less than 10 minutes from 3 large supermarkets and from the flat roof there are great views of the surrounding country side and the sea.
Menfi is a good place to stay as it is mid way between the large towns of Agrigento and Trapani both of which have some interesting places to see, Sciacca is also worth a visit for its shops and port area and the views from San Calogero which overlooks Sciacca are spectacular. When visiting... Plus
