Came for a week in May 2012, with my husband and our 2 year old.
The Google Maps street view of the flat made me hesitate, but I rang my uncle who lives in Marsala and he assured me it was a good area. He was right- it's just an unfortunate street view shot. I didn't notice any rubbish or graffiti nearby, and in fact, the location is wonderful.
The flat itself is nice, with ample furnishings. There is even a courtyard with chairs and a table. The beds were comfortable- a plus!- and there was plenty of hot water. I was pleasantly surprised that each bedroom and the main room has its own air con unit with independent controls. It wasn't very hot when we were there, but Marsala can be noisy so I was grateful to have the option to shut the windows and turn on the air con.
Although nothing about the flat is specifically for families, we found it perfect for our stay. The courtyard was great for letting our daughter play while we had an evening glass of wine... Plus
