We stayed for six nights in the room with 3 beds. We would have preferred one of the bedrooms with a double bed as they have windows to the outside. Our beds had very comfortable mattresses, toilet and sink ensuite - but the shower was through the kitchen.
We had a very nice time with the other guests and Malcolm the host, so one evening we had a fabulous potluck, it was so nice to be able to use a fridge and a kitchen.
We only met Merial briefly but she seems super nice. Breakfast was good, awesome homemade juice each morning, we loved the two little dogs, and the house is in an area close to the river to go for walks or runs. We also really appreciated being able to wash a load of laundry. We left to go to the coast and Malcolm kindly let us leave one suitcase at his place for a week.
Every place also has its disadvantages, and what I’d change would be that Malcolm (who is hard of hearing) when watching loud TV would start using head phones, though the... Plus
