(NB: Kiridara lost our booking, and so offered the villa as an upgrade for one of our nights. Our review is based on this experience. We have reviewed the hotel and its facilities separately.)
This villa (note: not the city centre townhouses) would be perfect for a family - one king bed and two twin beds; full kitchen; two bathrooms; and terrace. It has direct river views, but does not have a pool. The staff (full-time security, daytime butler and cleaner) are lovely, and are able to assist in booking cars, bikes, tours and arrange food (you have access to the same menu as the Kiridara hotel restaurant).
Breakfast prepared just for us on our balcony overlooking the river was a real highlight of our whole trip to Laos.
As a couple, however, overall we felt the villa was too much. The staff did their best to offer us privacy, but you could tell they would be more comfortable with more guests. They outnumbered us!
