I travelled with my parents, in their late 70's and my four children in their 20's as first time visitors to Bali. Villa Hibiscus suited our needs well, especially my parents, who enjoyed the quiet beauty of the well established garden and the great food and service. It is a very private, family friendly villa set in lush garden down a quiet laneway in Sanur. There are 3 bedrooms, one queen, one king and one bedroom with two doubles, each has a lovely outdoor bathroom. Nyoman, the manager, is in charge of the villa and the cooking. The food was delicious and plentiful - perhaps too plentiful - we felt obliged to eat the huge dishes that were presented. Each morning Nyoman asked what we wanted for dinner and we gave her the money to buy it - you had to have a ready supply of rupiah for payment.
Their driver, Robertius, is also a Kuta taxi driver when not needed so he was adept at weaving his way through the traffic - such courteous drivers in so much chaos. We paid Nyoman for... Plus
