A friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in the first week of November 2013. The cabin itself is delightful with the wood burner chucking out plenty of heat for the cold nights (despite being in November it was around 20 degrees C during the day)
A nearby shops stocks a good range of products such as salamis, pasta, eggs etc. Miercurea Ciuc is a relatively short drive away which we visited for the supermarket. There is also a bar / restaurant which was good fun especially on the saturday night. British visitors would be well advised to take advantage of the cheap drink available - around 75p per 500ml at our estimation. Cigarettes could be purchased for around £3 for a pack of 20.
Most of our time was spent up in the various mountains that surround the property which had fantastic views and is recommended for those that enjoy hiking.
Getting there was quite easy from Tirgu Mures airport. - just over a three hour drive not including stops. We hired a car... Plus
