We actually stayed in the neighbouring property Baan Lom, but it is managed by the same people and much of the advice is the same.
The house is on a hill overlooking Thong Nai Pan beach, when you look from the balcony you can't see any development, just jungle covered mountains behind, coconut trees in front and the sea beyond. There is lots of wildlife to see and hear as you are right up near the jungle. The path is steep, but the walk down to the beach was 6-8 minutes and the walk up around 15-20 minutes - this was with 6 and 7 year old children. The main street of TNP Noi was about 5 minutes along the beach from where you come down and had plenty of places to eat, plus shops if self catering (Snoop shop up near the restaurants like Rasta Baby and Baan Muay Thai was by far the best for value, plus in the afternoon a pickup comes from town with vegetables and fruit)
The house is a few years old, but is clean, comfortable and an enjoyable place to stay. We were there... Plus
