The house must be rated at least a 5 or 6 for charm and esthetics. If you are looking for a place to stay within the Medina walls, that refects old-fashioned Moroccan charm, this is it. We loved it. The house has been tastefully rennovated using traditional Moorish materials. Comparing the house to many old-town rentals we have seen in Spain, it rates high in esthetics.
When that's said, there were some down sides as well. We experienced some problems with the wiring that had to be sorted out. But in our experience, that sort of problem is unavoidable in even the best renovated house in a centuries old Moroccan medina.
