We stayed here from late October 2014 for three weeks. We stayed in the Marula cottage (2 bedroom).
It was fantastic - mainly due to the owner and operator Jon Levine who was always extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The property is a large house and several cottages set in a spacious garden (well maintained by the gardener, James) with a lovely communal pool: our kids loved looking for "mini-beasts" in the garden and playing in the pool. The cottage also has its own private garden with a gate so you can let the children play with minimal supervision. The cottage was serviced daily and equipped well without being overly fussy. The beds were comfortable, the small kitchenette was clean and the bathroom has an excellent shower. Jon runs an intimate bar some evenings, overlooking the pool and I can recommend the company.
I don't think Jon would mind me saying that this is a homely place to holiday, it is not a boutique hotel but that is exactly why we had... Plus
