The picture in TripAdvisor accurately describes what the chalet looks like. We booked the chalet to a) accommodate sleeping for 4-5, b) be near to Potrerillos so we could enjoy rafting, c) have a kitchen so we could cook, at least breakfast - being from North America, we enjoy having a protein rich egg with coffee and toast for breakfast. Unfortunately, there was no gas, so we could not cook. There was an electric kettle for making coffee, a toaster and a microwave. Heating up fresh empanadas in a microwave is inferior to heating them up in an oven.
1. Bring matches. While new North American gas stoves don't require a match to start the stove, this newer stove requires matches. If you don't bring them, there is a local mini-market where you can buy them.
2. Bring toilet paper. There was 1/2 a roll when we arrived which isn't enough for 4-5 people over 3 nights, and 4 days! If you don't bring it, there is a local mini-market where you can buy... Plus
