After a long tiring journey, we got ourselves lost in the last mile and Bob Grey was a very welcome sight when he came out to the village to find us and guide us in. Gampton Creek and the Spanish Boathouse was certainly worth all the effort.
The Spanish Boathouse is exactly what we saw on the photos on the site and more. It has been beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped. it is spacious for two and could possiblly work for more but for us and our two small dogs, it was perfect.
The major selling point for this property has to be its position, sitting very prettily on the side of the creek. When the tide rises it is just like beening on a boat. with water all around three sides, even washing up became a treat, river watching whilst cooking and cleaning up. Our favourite past time became watching the fish feed as the tide returned and making friends with the local wild life. One evening we were sat inside when a kingfisher tried to join us, flying into the french... Plus
