We stayed at ash lodge for three nights and wished we had booked just a bit longer. The accommodation is excellent, contemporary, very airy and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, en suite shower room and further bathroom. The provision of a welcome pack with breakfast essentials was a nice touch, as were the fresh flowers and fruit. The location is on the outskirts of the Forest of Dean, a few miles from Ross on wye, and whilst out in the sticks, with the pub a mere 200m walk away a local meal out was an easy option. Despite being close to the pub, the location was very peaceful. The owners are very helpful and have really put together a very high standard of accommodation. The towels were huge, soft, fluffy and plentiful and the wifi exceptionally good, a pre-requisite in our family with two teenagers.
I would not hesitate to recommend glasshouse lodges, they are identically kitted out and decorated so there is little to choose between the three other than top... Plus
