The cottage itself is quite old. It has been added onto over the years. The layout has the 4 bedrooms separated from the living space quite well. The lot is huge with bocce ball and horseshoes in the backyard. The hot tub is well maintained and the ocean view is from the deck where it is located. The drawbacks are the appliances that just barely function. The fridge has a front door handle nailed onto it. The walls have so much décor that 75% of the art should be removed to make it merely cluttered. There are fishermen's nets hanging on almost every wall. They contribute to the level of grime just below the surface of everything.
The beds were very comfortable. The top bunk of the bunk bed is unusable as it is about 8 inches below the ceiling. We were a large group of 10, provided our own crib and used one inflatable bed. So, it sleeps 8 nicely. The beach is quite close, 5 min. walk, but you do have to scale a cliff to get there and the ocean is too dangerous to swim... Plus
