Friends and I have rented the Villa of the Pillars for 2 weeks, in Feb 2013. The house was very comfortable, well equiped and well located - although I highly recommend a car to do errances.
When I arrived, I was somewhat disappointed that all was not perfectly in order but the staff reacted very quickly to correct some things. They had to empty the trash bins, change the candles, clean the place mats, have someone to fix the telephone, and I made sure to open doors & windows to change the air (bad smell) etc... The bedroom and one bathroom's doors are...in glass, so everyone can see through!! No privacy at all. That remains something to be fixed...I do not understand how come it has not been done yet! Unfortunately, there was some construction going on right next door (owned by the pillars as well) and we were not told so before booking... we did not appreciate this extra noise but had to do with it.
Having said all this, the house is pleasant to be in, nice design... Plus
