We were initially very pleased with the booking process. Cindy at Kinlin Grover was very friendly and helpful. She helped us to figure out which unit would be closest to the pools and facilities which was great. We were also able to book on Visa which meant that we would be covered by our trip insurance.
It is too bad, however, that such good service did not translate to a nice place. As soon as we entered the unit we could smell the mould and mildew. The unit was obviously run down. The carpets were very dirty and the mildew on the bathroom shower curtains and the bathtub made me doubtful that the unit was cleaned properly. Our family left with major conjestion after breathing in the mould for the week.
The Ocean Edge resort itself was ok but again not great. Part of the problem was the way that guests in the villages were treated. Arriving at the resort we were told that in order to access the pools etc. we had to pay another fee. The fee for a family of four... Plus
