Tucked away in a little hamlet about ten minutes drive from Najac in the Averyon, les Trois Puits proved to be a great choice for holidaying with our six year old. The house has been lovingly and stylishly restored and put together in a way that worked well. With ancient old stone and beams, the house is a delightfully quirky mix of modern and historic and it was great having a terrace to have breakfast and watch the stars at night. Although my tall husband did find he ran the risk of concussion on some of the beams and low thresholds!
The kitchen is well laid out, the only drawback being there was no dishwasher but this seems to be standard in French holiday homes.
There is a good sized garden, a treehouse and lots of toys for children. The beds are very comfortable. There were only three of us, so I don't know how it would work for bigger numbers but would be fine for two couples with young children.
