If you are looking for a trip to relax, enjoy the lake, and not really "do" Branson this is a great place to stay. Be aware, though, that these cabins are like real low maintenance cabins...cinder block, berber carpet, dated (although the appliances & TV weren't), etc. This isn't a luxury place, but it was very clean, in good working order, and comfortable just enough. The owner was very kind and helpful. We had no complaints. If you are wanting to do a lot of shows in Branson, shop, etc, then I would suggest staying in Branson. It's a 15 minute drive or so to the heart of Branson, but it is very close to Silver Dollar City.
Ohhh...also, the directions on the website were great...except when it tells you to turn off of Hwy 13 onto Hwy DD...there is no sign at the intersection showing Hwy DD. So, GPS was real handy! Plus
