I'm so certain I want to return, and soon, that I want to ask the owner if I could just leave my belongings here. And I hate to provide such a glowing report of our week here that others will want to rent this casa at the same time we want to.
It's a fabulous place. No screens or glass on the windows, and almost no walls. Just open to the sounds and sights of the ocean and the feel of the sun and breeze. It's lack of traditional privacy makes this casita best for a couple sharing the mosquito netted king bed.
We met the builder who obviously is proud of this sweet place and fond of its owners, and he went out of his way to make our stay problem free (got us cash and groceries in Zihuatanejo and offered to print our return flight boarding passes). The housekeeper (Lupe) cooked us one lunch and prepared the basics for us to cook another in the well-equipped kitchen. On another day fresh fish was delivered that we prepared for dinner.
