We got to the apartment and immediately found the water was not working. Upon eventually finding that the mains were turned off I turned on the water supply and found the water pressure was non existent. Water pressure dips every morning to a trickle which means you cannot flush the toilets or have a shower. On one morning it the water was off for 4 hours. We had two young children and this meant we had to bathe them in the swimming pool in the other block as the Malaleuca pool is a dead pool. Sometimes we would eat back in the evening to find that the water had gone off again. IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT THE WATER PRESSURE IS VERY UNRELIABLE. It is worth noting that I turned on all stop valves in the flat so the problem was the supply into the development. In the main town in Santa Maria, there were no such problems when speaking to other holiday makers in other hotels/flats.
On speaking to some of the property owners on the Villa Verde, these water problems are well known... Plus
