We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. It was the old style cottages and log fires that attracted us to the place. It looked like the perfect place to spend our anniversary weekend. The cottages themselves are less than 20 years old but have built to give that yester-year feel on a country farm with much of the furniture being built by local craftsmen.
They are well set up for families with activities to keep the little ones occupied. It was different to wake in in the morning and walk into the kitchen and find alpacas staring back at you over the fence.
Peter was friendly and welcoming when we arrived and we settled in easily.
The Cottages are about a 20 minute walk into town or a 2 or 3 minute drive and is an ideal location as a base to explore what the Avon Valley has to offer.
The only downside is the pressure of the hot water. It is very low, we didn’t use the clawfoot bath but I would think it would take some time to fill.
We enjoyed our stay...
