We hadn't visited Mawgan Porth before so had no idea this haven existed around the corner from the more vibrant Watergate Bay (which we've visited on a number of occasions). This break was a birthday gift to us and I'd spent a long time looking online before selecting this place. The beach is beautiful and there were very few people around the weekend we visited. I love a good, sandy beach! Of course, one can't control the weather but we were fortunate during our stay.
The accommodation was very comfortable and welcoming with a fabulous view of the beach, lovely bedrooms (with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on), a well equipped kitchen (always a winner with me!), a sparkling bathroom and a good sized sitting/dining area. We were joined by two teenagers for an evening and still had plenty of room, even with all their gubbins!
The property is within a few minutes walk of the beach, a well-stocked food shop and a pub. We called in at the shop but not the pub - we had... Plus
