From the moment we arrived we fell in love with Hillcrest Retreat. Tracey always went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was superb. Dinner in the gazebo overlooking Mt Warning was incredible.
Clive produced the most delicious breakfast. Tracey baked the fresh bread and made the jams, the eggs came from their free range chickens and Clive did the cooking. The pears poached in local honey and star anise were a standout. The poached eggs were soft and runny with a deep yellow yolk. The plunger coffee was freshly ground. The organic grapefruit juice squeezed by Clive was very refreshing. We stayed in the Blue Room and can't wait to return. Congratulations Tracey and Clive. You can be very proud of your hospitality.
