Our family of 11, ranging from age 12 to 80, spent a week at Point Williams Lodge for our 2014 reunion. We have been having reunions every two years starting in 2000, and this was one of the best places we have stayed. The house has six bedrooms, a pool and spa, so we were quite comfortable. The setting is fabulous, overlooking Puget Sound, off the point of Samish Island (not really an island - there is a road from the mainland). The kitchen and dining rooms were up to handling everyone. We spent most nights around the large outdoor fireplace off the back deck. If you rent this place, be aware that it is remote from grocery shopping. There are a few small stores nearby, but the best big store is Haggan, one in Bellingham and one in Burlington. The Bellingham store is closer, but either up a narrow winding road or a loop up I5.
