If you are traveling with an extended family and are looking for a great place to stay in the cody area this might be your place. I would say you should have a four wheel drive vehicle. I have a 4x4 suburban and was fine, however my son in law drove a dodge caravan and we only drove it up the mountain once. This is a mountain road so just be prepared. I would highly suggest driving it the first time in the daylight hours. We drove it for the first time at night and it was scary. Now that said we are from Iowa where we don't have Mountains but we do have gravel roads. This was not a gravel road, it is a rocky Mountain road big difference. Most of the group is adventurous at heart so this played right in to our adventure vacation.
Once at the cabin our family really enjoyed the stay. You are close enough to Cody to go into town and enjoy all the fun stuff they have to offer.
The cabin easily slept all 10 of us which was very nice. It has a breath taking view... Plus
