Let me begin by saying my husband is a young 83 and I'm 66 so keep this in mind as you read my comments. We were visiting our daughter and family of 8 children who lived about 20 minutes away so this is what drew us to the North Shore. We've never stayed up there so I really didn't know how expensive rentals were going to run. When I saw this for just $100/night I decided to check into it as we were on a tight budget staying in Hawaii for 2 weeks! The photos online didn't tell the whole story shall we say. The view was incredible; the double bed was uncomfortable and the side window didn't allow much air into the room; bathroom was very small; cooking area wasn't really clean as this is a renovated garage (so, bugs). There was a side-by-side refrigerator so we bought quite a few groceries but it was old, needed defrosting and didn't keep our frozen items frozen :(
