The apartment is a great size for families with three double bedrooms one of which has a bunk bed that is a double at the bottom and a single at the top which my eldest daughter loved. The location is directly behind a row of shops that faces the beach and harbour.
However, there is definately no harbour view only that of the back of spar and the bins. If you have young children be warned that there are 16 steps to the apartment so its a bit tricky with a pushchair.
Also make sure that you take with you or buy basic essentials as there is no welcome pack e.g dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, cling film, tin foil, toilet rolls (not enough for a week), no pint of milk etc which is nice to receive when you have had a long journey.
Ballycastle is great with nice cafes/restaurants, a lovely beach and a fantastic park for children right on the beach and just across the road.
The apartment has been decorated nicely but it is let down by the cleanliness... Plus
