At the end of June 2013, my wife and I travelled to La Pipeniere which is about 10 k from Domfront, in Normandy for a two week holiday. On arrival there we were delighted with the cottage. It had been restored by the owners to a high spec reflecting a typical French cottage.
The cottage was comfortable, spacious and well furnished throughout, the kitchen was modern and had everything that you need. Broadband and TV is available. Unusually the cottage had UK three pin sockets fitted throughout, which was very handy.
At the rear of the house there is a large secure garden, ideal for BBQ's, sunbathing and relaxing and it is very child friendly.
The local village, La Baroche sous Luce is a short walk from the cottage, there you can buy local bread and croissants.
The cottage is well situated for visiting St Malo, Mont St Michel and the Normandy beaches. Domfront is a medieval town with cafe's, bars and restaurants, worth visiting. We would recommend... Plus
