Just got back from a 2 week holiday in this apartment and the owners & housekeeper couldn't have made us feel more welcome, before, during and after our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy and has everything you might need. The pool in the complex is great and well maintained and for the first 2 weeks in July was quite quiet. The sea is a short 4 minute walk with several little restaurants dotted along the seafront all the way to the marina which is a 30 minute sea-front promenade amble away. The marina has plenty of restaurants, bars and a supermarket and has a lovely atmosphere. Mario Park (a waterslide park) is a 30 minute drive away and the the kids loved it so much we went a couple of times (they're 4 & 5).
We flew to Malaga so had a 2hr+ drive, but if doing it again would definitely fly to Almeria instead.
Overall we had a great time, hardly any English people staying in the complex which we liked, a few in the marina but not enough to feel that you were...
