Great guides and awesome tour. We did a hike through hells gate and a long snorkel at a spot. Saw several turtles pop out of the water as well

We took the Eco Tour yesterday and had a fantastic time. Our crew were amazing, Arion, Ariel and Lesley. They took great care of us and gave us so many laughs and fascinating information. The lunch was delicious and there were plentiful drinks, juice, water, coke and on the way home, rum punch and banana bread. I loved snorkelling the reef and Ariel told me all about the fish. If you only do one thing in Antigua it should be this tour. Thank you guys, see you again soon

I highly highly highly recommend this tour. We had the 'A' Team, Arion, Ariel and Adino - what a team!
They were so informative, great fun to spend the day with and the snorkelling opportunity was just breathtaking. This was a true highlight of our holiday and I can't recommend them enough!

I enjoyed the tour,I am not a boat lover but my hubby loves them so decided to book it. The boat was actually great, the crew were very good and able to bring it really close to shore, and the steps were easy to climb aboard. The crew easy to call them triple A,not sure how to spell their names all beginning with A, they were helpful and knowledgeable, gave lots of info about turtles, we were able to go for a small hike over hells gate and show us the mangroves. Ariel’s home made banana loaf was lovely as was the lunch, although not so good for myself as I have allergy to garlic, but hubby enjoyed the chicken and pasta. I think my only disappointment was I didn’t get to study or learn about many birds, but still a good trip.

Great tour with Arion (the captain), Ariel and Adino.
They treated all of us very well and taught us some interesting information about the ecological projects and general history of Antigua.
Snorkeling was good, especially if you're a beginner.
It was an enjoyable tour.
Big RESPECT to the A team.

Next time we go to Antigua, we will choose a land tour, or just taxi to a beach. The day on the boat in and out of the water was nice enough, but we were disappointed with the snorkeling. Visibility was not great in the deeper places they took us. I was excited to do the "longer" swim / snorkel with our guide, but there just wasn't a whole lot to see. It was more like a swim, with snorkel & fins.
The lunch was good, with our feet in the water. That stop at Great Bird Island was the best part of the trip. Very pretty, and birds everywhere!
They took us to Hell's Gate also, where some chose to hike up and walk across the volcanic rock "bridge". It looks really cool, but it was HOT that day, so we chose to stay in the water.
The crew was nice.
* Be sure to ask everyone around the specified pickup area if they are with Adventure Antigua, so that you don't get left behind. We were in the exact spot they told us to meet, and actually thought we were the only two from our cruise ship on this tour, because nobody else was around. I guess they picked up the other couples a little closer to the cruise ship, and we couldn't see their boat past the two big catamarans parked at the marina. But it all worked out.

Fabulous day of fun and adventure.
Well organized by the attentive team.
The crew arrived when promised at thé embarcation spot.
The crew moored at the Cruise ship area of St Johns Harbour where we waited for people who arrived late.
The capitan was quite accommodating, waiting longer than most of us would have.
The crew searched the dock and actually found the two couples.
Last stop was Sandales where the boat was beached on the bow and several passengers climbed aboard. Since it is a Catamaran this was possible.
The tour was guided by the Captain and one crew member who pointed out many sites as we traveled to ‘Hells Gâté’.
There we swam to the small island, climbed through a tunnel through the rock and up onto the island proper, where we saw the boat anchored, and other tour and private boats, almost all catamarans.
We stopped at a secluded beach for a fantastic buffet lunch of pasta, bbq chicken, salad and caramélisée Plantain. Pronounced like mountain…
We walked the beach and took the opportunity for a swim and snorkle in the shallow waters, where we saw turtles grazing the sea grass and a small ray.
We then proceeded to a deeper spot where we were invited to snorkle over a reef.
After the adventure the crew headed back home with the boat making rooster tails as we flew along.
An awesome day indeed, can.t say enough of how the crew made the best tour we have experienced.

Three weeks ago, to the day, I went on this trip. I'm writing this review as I'm lucky to be alive after 2 days in St John's hospital intensive care unit. I feel that you need to have some learning from my experience that day.
I would have liked to email you directly, but you give me no choice than to put it on here as nowhere do you publish an email address to contact you directly.
The day was going well, after an interesting pick up on the beach at our hotel and subsequent hotels, we had a tour of Jumby Bay, the mangroves and a climb at Hells Mouth followed by a delicious lunch. Hence the 3 blobs for our trip.
It all went wrong after lunch. Everything is different in hindsight, but some things stand out.
After lunch we headed out to swim over the coral, I can't name this spot but it wasn't far from our lunch location.
As children, we were always taught that you should not swim for a hour after eating. It wasn't that far away for that to have been the case. That said, it wasn't the lack of a time gap that caused my problem.
There were 31 people on board the trip, a group 10 maybe 12 people went on the swim over the coral, other stayed closer to the boat, some stayed on board the boat.
We were told it was shallow and not to stand on it.
We were told which way the trip would go.
We were told that a mask, snorkel and fins were needed - indeed one person
was stopped from going as he didn't have these.
What we weren't told were the following:
we would be swimming against a stong current;
the group was being led by Usain Bolt in the water;
it was a race to get back to the boat;
there was no time to actually see the coral, you just had to keep up with the
leader of the group.
Half way around, I became exhausted from fighting the current and trying to keep up with the leader. I'm not a bad swimmer and I'm a qualified Diver, I knew that I was exhausted and I had to get back to the boat orI wouldn't make it.
I was able to get part way back, but exhaustion overcame me and it was all I could do to stay afloat. Fortunately, another guest spotted that I had become separated from the group and brought it to the Captain's attention. He sounded the alarm to recall all swimmers back to the boat and Ariel, who was already in the water came over with a rescue float to drag me back to the boat. I'm told I submerged into the water several times during the few minutes it took to get me to the boat.
By the time we got back to the boat I was semi conscious and had swallowed a great deal of water. My breathing was laboured and short. I'm told my lips were blue due to lack of oxygen.
From this point on, I remember very little. I know there was a lovely American Doctor on board, who was able to put me in the recovery position, and talked to me as we headed to shore. I don't know her name but I am grateful for her being there.
Ariyon, the Captain called the Emergency Services to meet us where he could dock, I don't know how long this took or where it was.
I know when we docked that I was lifted onto a stretcher and was taken by ambulance, under blue lights and sirens, to Emergency at St John's Hospital, where I stayed for the next 2 days, as Non-fatal drowning case.
It wasn't what I anticipated at the start of the day, let alone on my holiday!
My if onlys are:
Tell guests that they will be swimming against strong current on the first part of the loop.
Tell guests that they are swimming with Usain Bolt in the sea.
Tell guests that it is a a race to get back to the boat not a leisurely viewing of the coral and fish.
Arrange the day so that the swim isn't immediately after eating lunch.
Have a member of staff at the back as well as leading the group over the coral reef.
Have oxygen on board the boat.
For those of you on our boat that day, should you be reading this, I hope you aren't too traumatised or at least, less traumatised than me!
Thank you to the lovely American Doctor - the extreme knitting lady for your kindness that day.
To the lovely oriental girl who jumped into the water to help Ariel :)
It is thanks to Ariel and Ariyon that I am able to write this, and I know that Ariel did contact our tour rep to find out my condition. However, none of this should have happened.
Don't let anyone else have this experience.

We rented a half day private charter to go snorkeling and tour around some of Antigua's fun water spots. We were a party of 14 that included my 91 year old mother and my 15 month old granddaughter! From my first email making the arrangements for this tour to when the crew dropped us off after our day on the ocean they could not have been more helpful or friendly. Every time I called or emailed I received a quick response. The email directions preparing us for our day were spot on and we found the boat pick up spot very easily. And their pricing was very reasonable and their boat in very good shape!
But what I really want to highlight is the 3 man crew we had headed by Captain David along with his crew Tyrese and Adino. This crew could not have been more helpful(try getting a 91 yr old woman in the water to snorkel!) or more fun! They shared so much about their beautiful island with us during our cruise, they were very focused on our safety and boy did we laugh! It was a PERFECT day. If you want to tour the the Island via a boat this is the company to use ! Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful day!

Hi Eli, my wife and I live in Antigua and we are now starting to have family & friends visit us. Could I ask if we as local residents would be able to get a discounted price on your tours if we were to bring our friends and family?

Is this a suitable tour for children (7&9 years), and what is the price for children please?

7 & 9 yr. olds would have no problem. There were many families with children and the only child that didn't seem to handle it well was about 3 yrs. old, so she needed to be carried a lot and wanted a nap.
