MaryStella was a wonderful tour guide for our Vatican tour. We were able to skip the lines, get interesting information and had time to take in the Vatican without feeling rushed.

Stefania did it again!!! After an unforgettable visit in June of 2019, we returned to Rome for Christmas/New Years. Stefania chose tours based on our interest, and this was just one of the days we spent with her. We had been to the Vatican on our previous trip, so we were interested in seeing different things and spending more time in the less crowded Sistine Chapel. Her schedule worked perfectly, and she gave us plenty of time in the Chapel. Many guides have rushed us out due to their schedules or time of day and the crowds being too large. We were able to get there when we could sit, reflect and pray. She even had a guide for our son to see the different parts of the painting and what to look for when he went inside. Her knowledge of the map room was quite impressive!

Best Vatican tour by Stefania
Loved the tour, and each and every sight. Stefania Pistone was a great guide, who gave us an awesome Italian welcome.
A breathable walk-through of the Vatican, from the treasures to the Basilica, was one of the best introductions to a city we’ve ever had. We will definitely head back there. We miss Italy,
Eyes of Rome tour and most specially Stefania! Sending our love from Little Rock, Arkansas USA. (Visited April 2017)

We were super happy with the amazing tour and personal experience we had for the Vatican tour with Francesco. He was super great with our 8year old and kept us all engaged throughout the entire day. He was the best. Highly recommend him!!!!

Early Bird Vatican Tour - Fabiana D’Angeli
Fabiana was an excellent host for our early bird tour of the Vatican. We skipped all the lines and went in through “closed” entrances. Her knowledge of the Vatican and its history was superb. We loved all the small anecdotes and stories she told us. Fabiana was terrific and the entire Eyes of Rome booking experience was easy. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I'm not sure what else there is for Stefania to show us in Rome, but she can be sure that we'll call her again for our next trip...
This was our second tour with Stefania and she is really great. We did the Vatican tour and it was super interesting. Earlier in the week, we had visited other art museums, and we passed through quickly, as we normally do (we're not art experts). With Stefania, the Vatican was infinitely more interesting - she explained the context, the significance, and the history of art. It really made the experience so much more rich. Also, the Eyes of Rome early tour was fantastic for skipping lines and avoiding crowds :)

After the Vatican, we were supposed to do a walking tour but neither my husband nor I was super hungry. Stefania did introduce us to a fantastic little street food spot, and then we explored some of Rome's best walking neighbourhoods together. She pointed out some shops and restaurants and each of the spots we returned to later was excellent!

Fuimos un grupo de 6 al tour del vaticano de "Early bird Prime", nuestra guía Luisa estuvo excelente en todos los sentidos, te mantiene entretenido todo el tiempo, sabe mucho y contesta todas las preguntas! Te da datos muy interesantes sobre todo lo que te interese, un tour muy completo para conocer todo muy bien. No hicimos ninguna fila en ningún momento y nunca estuvimos con mucha gente, lo pudimos disfrutar muy bien. Sin duda regresaría con esta empresa y lo recomendaría muchísimo! Es una empresa formal y puntual, SUPER RECOMENDABLE!

Three EXCELLENT tours in Rome with Katie

My husband and I had never been to Rome and we only had two days to see as much as we could. Katie with Eyes of Rome was recommended to us through a local FB group. We booked three tours with Katie - Ancient Rome and Colosseum, City Walking Tour and Early Bird VIP Vatican Tour. Katie was an amazing tour guide - she met us at our hotel and was so friendly and accommodating! We learned so much and really made the most our of our two days. Katie makes history and Rome come to life. We had a great time and have already recommended her tours to friends.

Pricey but well worth it
Booking something online and overseas can be a crap shoot. I’m so glad we found this company. We booked the Prime VIP early morning Vatican tour. At 7:20 am it was already hot and the lines were long. We walked right in. Our guide, Maria, was incredibly knowledgeable and would gauge our interests and spend more or less time accordingly. She knew the best photo spots and navigated around other groups. When we got into St Peter’s, a small mass was being held in the very front. I said I would like to participate, so she asked the guard and he let me in! An amazing and unexpected experience! She directed my husband on climbing the dome, so he did that while I was in mass. Because it was the day before a holy day, they were preparing the basilica and so the crypts were closed. Maria called the office to make sure we weren’t charged the $40 for the crypt tour. Our guide was terrific, emails with instructions were clear. This company has their stuff together.
