John was an excellent guide! We had to change both our pickup and drop-off locations at the last minute, and John happily obliged. Half of our party got lost on the way to the pickup location, and John patiently waited for them and even offered to pick them up wherever they were.
John is very knowledgeable of the history of Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. He shared a lot of great insights, but more importantly, he was able to easily shift from sharing history to entertaining the toddler in our party.
Outside of making sure that we got to Pena Palace in time for our booked tour, he allowed us to take as much time as we needed wherever we went, including having a very long lunch at an amazing seafood restaurant not far from the Cascais city center.
When the toddler in our group expressed interested in going to a playground on our way back to Lisbon, John quickly found an incredible playground for us in Cascais. It was close to 5pm, but he told us to let the toddler play as long as she wanted.
John made what could have been a very stressful day trip extremely relaxing and amazing. I highly recommend Amiroad, and I would even encourage you to request for John.

Most importantly, our tour guide / driver Pedro was very knowledgeable, friendly and cared very much about my family enjoying the day. He went way above and beyond, and made the day special for us. A small example - Pedro set up our lunch at a beautiful seaside restaurant, introduced us to the waiter, walked us to the table to ensure we liked the seating and recommended wonderful dishes. We visited locations along the coast that were simply beautiful. I could go on and on. Thank you Pedro!
The booking process, follow up and promptness of Amiroad is A+. The Mercedes Benz van was spotless and always comfortable. The price for both our airport transfers and the full day tour was very reasonable by any standard. So worth it and makes what could be stressful portions of the vacation - easy.

We had a great time on this tour. It was fantastic that it was private, so we could adapt the day to our interests and energy. Our diver Gancolo was very kind and informative. He gave us great information along the whole route. The visit to Pena castle was beautiful. The views were amazing. We had a nice lunch by the sea, which wasn't mentioned in the itinerary, but was really nice. He gave us plenty of opportunities for stops. Great day, highly recommended

Luxury private tour by professionals...our day with Helio was fantastic. From the moment he stepped out of the luxury Mercedes minivan promptly and dressed in a suit, we knew it would be a great day. Helio was very knowledgeable and shared facts and history during the drive to Sintra. Unfortunately there was a worker's strike during the time we booked our trip, so the palace and monuments were closed. Helio knew of this and suggested that we go to the Quinta de Regaleira instead, which was beautiful. Please note, you do have to purchase your own tickets, which you can do online right away. He brought us to Cascais to a lovely lunch spot, and then on to Estoril. Very flexible with times and will accomodate your schedule.

We had a wonderful time, Antonio is a wonderful driver, he explains everything to us, help us get the tickets, introduce all the scenics to us, he’s very knowledgeable and a very nice person. and he is a excellent driver, we are very comfortable in his nice van. Highly recommended.

Eliano, our guide and driver, was awesome! He gave my wife and I an insightful narration during our whole journey. Our day trip included a tour of the Palacio Nacional de Pena, the Palacio Nacional de Sintra, and the village surrounding it. Eliano also took us to a wonderful seafood restaurant with a beautiful ocean view (Mar do Guincho). Thereafter we took the coastal route back to Lisbon through some cool small towns. Overall, an excellent day with gratitude to Eliano for his great energy and knowledge!

We had an amazing time in Portugal thanks to the services provided by Amiroad and our amazing driver and guide Vitor. They were on time to pick us up at the airport, and the car was clean and very comfortable. We also did a tour around Lisbon, a transfer to Porto (via Fatima Shrine), and the way back from Porto to Lisbon 3 after. Vitor was a great driver in every way: attentive, nice, and respectful. He was also a great guide always willing to explain in detail everything about the places we were visiting. I highly recommend Amiroad's services if you are traveling to Portugal.

You have to book your own tickets to Pena Palace which was not clear until the day before. When you do get the earliest timed ticket to beat the mid-day crowds. Helio was our driver for the day and he was great in every way. Our itinerary was: Pena Palace, Sintra, Punta Roca (high point overlooking the ocean), an upscale seafood restaurant on the ocean near Cascais, Cascais downtown and back to Lisbon.

Joao is an excellent driver and guide. He told us to go to monserat castle and no to pena castle because is full of tourists and he was wright/
