Outstanding Hong Kong Private Tour

We booked a 4-Hour Hong Kong City with Jacky in May 2023 and had a great time.
Jacky is very knowledgeable and provided lots of background on the history of Hong Kong. Moreover, he took us to places you usually wouldn't find or go to as a tourist.
He even invited us to authentic Hong Kong meal along with milk tea.
In summary: I highly recommend Jacky and his company to everyone wanting to explore and get to know more about Hong Kong!

Excellent Tour Guide

Jacky did an awesome job as our guide! He is very knowledgeable and answers all of your questions. He gave a bit of a history lesson which was very interesting. We went to Victoria Peak, the financial district and an authentic local market where all the locals buy their fresh food. It was awesome! We highly recommend Jacky!

Walking Tour of Hong Kong

Really enjoyed this tour and our guide Bill was excellent. It’s a bespoke tour so not every party looking for the same things. Once we chatted Bill understood what we were looking for and said that by the end of the tour we would have a very good comfort and insight to Hong Kong. That’s how it turned out. We got to see streets, places and views that we just wouldn’t have got access to. Bill is a photographer so we ended up with a lot of great pics. If it had of been a bit cheaper then it would have been a 5 Star but hey it’s Hong Kong and everything is more expensive.

Interesting tour with too much of a focus on now

Our intent was to get a bit of history, development and better background of Hong Kong, the region and how it all came together. We basically were shown how it is today, how people struggle etc. And I understand that it is an issue. Similar to other large cities from Chicago to Nairobi.

Morning private tour Hong Kong

This tour was great. We only had 1 full day and wanted to do something covered vast majority. Our guide was wonderful. Very informative & thorough. Would definitely book again but perhaps longer tour or walking tour! Highly recommend

Good overview of Hong Kong

We enjoyed our trip with Jackie. He English is first rate. Jackie was great to explain all we did see and got our luggage from the ship to the hotel. He was an enjoyable host for our family of 6 (with 2 teens) in Hong Kong.

A Great Way to See Hong Kong

We had half a day to experience Hong Kong and found Jacky. We are so glad we did. Jacky met us and took us on a tour of what I would say was all the highlights that anyone could want to see. We saw and experienced so much in 4 hours. Jacky was a gracious host and very knowledgeable about Hong Kong, the history, culture and customs. He shows us things that we wouldnt have been able to find on our own and gave us a glimpse into daily life in Hong Kong. I wish we had more time to spend in Hong Kong and we would have scheduled other tours with him. It really was a perfect tour and day in Hong Kong.

Had a fantastic tour as first timers in Hong Kong with limited time

Our guide, Tony, met us at the cruise terminal in a very comfortable and nice vehicle for our private tour. We left the tour in Tony's hands since none of us had ever been to Hong Kong before. He brought us to Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, a floating restaurant, Chin Lin Nunnery & Nan Lian Garden, and markets (all places fabulous) and then to the airport for our flight home. Tony was a fantastic guide and highly recommended! We will be back!

We landed on a Thursday morning & was collected by Jacky at lunchtime for a drive around Hong Kong with various stops along the way. Jacky was an excellent guide & worked at our pace including a trip to local restaurant where we sampled local Hong Kong milk tea and traditional buns which were delicous.

We were contacted upon entering HKG port & a meeting time/place advised in the cruise terminal. Jacky arrived on time & enquired to confirm our requirements. As we had been frequent visitors over the past 30+ years we had "done" most of the sites. Our last visit was 10years ago & we quickly realised the changes that had taken place in the downtown area when we ventured out upon arrival in the morning so we requested a visit to what is left of the real HKG. A bus ride from Star Ferry to Mongkok saw us in the thick of it with visits to several local food delicacies, (we declined the stinky tofu) & markets, including pet street. Background info was always available along with a high degree of empathy as he noticed we were tiring of markets towards then end & returned us to ship by taxi. We wondered how much of the fee charged by "Tours by Locals" he actually received?
