Coming from Canada I wanted to rent light off road enduro bike to explore Croatia and the Balkans. Did a bit of searching on the options available and decided to go for Lobagola MotoTours and Dooby. I got many recommendations on their services and have read many positive experiences on Dooby's support for the over landing community on ADVrider and Horizons unlimited forums.
As Trans Euro Trail project was running for couple of years now and people have obviously tested the concept, I went back and forth with Dooby on the rentals options and additional mapping they could provide.
So we came with 15 days of riding in total and 2 off days, rode TET in Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania and additional tracks in all of the mentioned countries.
Dooby arranged interesting routing for the loop back, as I wanted to experience more culture, history, heritage and enjoy the local food and staying in mountain huts and farms in remote areas.
Suzuki DRZ 400 E i got to rent was in perfect shape mechanically, fresh tires, plastics were a bit scuffed but this is enduro bike right! They have on all of their off road rentals Mosko Moto Reckless 80 l luggage set, which was perfect size for all of my gear, cooking stuff, food, tent etc.
I decided to end the ride in Dubrovnik from where I flew to Frankfurt, so they came down to pick the bike. Filip young guy from the crew was very helpful and professional when we met for the pick up of the bike.
In total perfect experience, got lucky with the weather, had fun riding variety of TET and non TET related tracks. Got my bit of history, culture and heritage and local food, while meeting quite a number of interesting people along the way.
Lobagola MotoTours as many other on ADVrider and HUBB are praising their service from insurance and freight to storage their provide, I can add my compliments to their off road rental services and mapping.
