They told us to be ready by 5:30 they picked us up 6:30
They told us we would have an English guide, she could barely speak a word
The worst tour in the world, waste of time and money, they brought us to a place for lunch and dinner it was so disgusting I felt sick the next day.

Pammukale is definitely amazing place to visit and is 3 hours from Antalya. One shouldn’t miss it but not via this tour. This tour was one of the worst I experienced anywhere in the world.
- Was supposed to start at 6.30 which meant readying our 4 year old at 5.30-6. Finally got picked up at 7.30.
- got driven around random shops till 4 PM!
- The actual time we got at Pamukkale was 2.5 hours! In this we were expected to see historical Hierapolis and cotton castles. No context or background given. No guidance on dress or buying water etc upfront.
- The lunch and dinner at 60TL we’re a joke.
- Out of the 14-15 hours we spent exactly 2.5 hours viewing what we set out to see.

Before I start guys, just so you know - I'm not one to ever write reviews - however the disappointment were far too high to dismiss this lightly. So, to start of...
Good points:
- the destination itself
Bad points:
- late pick up
- tour guide constantly speaking on microphone throughout whole journey repeating everything in 3 different languages
- shop drop offs (waste of time and money)
- pomegranate store ? Bad advertisement strategy (Also forced off the coach to attend this?!)
- little enthusiasm from the guide
- over priced tickets for entrance being sold in bus (you can buy a cheaper ticket at the entrance)
- we observed the tour guides "guided tour," at pamukalle ... and really that extra 15 lira is deffo not worth it. All she did was walk up the path and describe 2 THINGS. Honestly the whole thing was laughable and felt like a scam
- not worth the money as just long and boring
Book a private taxi, it will save you time, money and disappointment.

This is the worst tour we have been on.
We had been picked up at 6am and got to PAMUKKALE at 3.30pm - a normal journey is about 2 hours, however, they kept stopping every hour at overpriced shops to force us to buy items of no interest (pomegranate juice for instance?!)
The tour guide; which was a polish woman btw (could hardly speak English and was always talking in polish through the whole journey?!) was a total scam artist.
She was forcing people on the journey to buy the entrance tickets at a price of 75 Lira - the cost price is 60 Lira at the gate, when I asked why she was charging more, she said 'it's because I care about my customers' which does not make sense ?! I declined and said 'no thank you, I will pay at the entrance lol' she then went on and tried to force everyone to buy their goods on the bus and stated its 'cheaper' a water cost €1 on the bus = 6 Lira. Water normally costs between 1-2 Lira in the turk shops.
The food was disgusting and gave people stomach aches.
AVOID THIS TOUR AT ALL COSTS, YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED
This is a total waste of money and time. My suggestion would be to find a taxi driver and haggle a cheap ride to pamukkale, you can then spend as much time as you desire as we only had 2 hours free time!!!!

Really nice. Worth travelling for 3 hours from Antalya. I have never seen like this before. Very beautiful and nice experience. My children loved there. Not suitable for disabled people. Make sure you visit the toilet before you climb up. Toilet allocate at the beginning where the cars stop.

I have used Trip Advisor several times in the past to book excursions and try to avoid falling into the trap of unscrupulous people. However, in this opportunity it did not work as there was only a couple of reviews to read and we decided to believe that what it was explained and detailed in the description of the excursion will be a true representation of what we would get.... however, we were completely wrong!
I really do not want to write a book about the horrific experience as I prefer to forget about it all. But I would like to prevent other people to fall into the same trap.
Be aware that what you are paying IS ONLY THE TRANSPORT AND NOTHING ELSE. Yes, the transport will take you around an endless and pointless list of shops where you are offered to buy overpriced items that you can buy anywhere else at half the price and better quality. You will also do numerous stops for toilet and to buy awful food. And after 8 hours of bus riding around you will finally go to Pamukkale, where of course, as NOTHING is included, you will pay the entrance to the Park AND Museum AND Cleopatra’s pool to visit ALL that in 2 HOURS.... of course, because you have already spent all your time doing pointless shopping.
I should mention that the “DINNER” is included (if you can call that dinner) but of course nothing else, I.e. any drinks.
To summarise, if you want to seat in a bus for hours being driven around and spending money without seeing any important aspect of Pamukkale, then this is for you.
I will mention also that apart from the excursion that we paid in advance, we spent about £50 per person extra just in tickets for entrance, drinks and poor quality food.
I hope this helps someone to avoid being ripped off.

i Planned a trip for my group to visit the southern side of Turkey and cam across Fatih name from some previouse reviews so I contacted him. He arranged for us the full transportation and daily excursions.
What I like most that his staff were always on time and very acommodating for last minutes changes for example due to weather.
He is also personaly show interest to make you wellcome in his country and awyas check on you.
Pamukkale was one of the site that he organised for us..what a beutifull place,,
we had great time and relaxing time for some shoping
Thanks alot Fatih and looking forward for my trip

Pictures and words do not describe the beauty of this place. The seemingly unimpressive white rock seen from far away turns into a spectacular view once you are there.
Although terraces are the prime attraction, the ancient pool behind museum and well preserved roman theater are a must watch as well. They are located near the entry point of terraces (around 100 meter walk maybe).
If time permits, stay the night. Best time to visit is just before sunset (area is well lit at night). Hotels in town are inexpensive and comfy.
If coming/going by plane, remember airport is 1 hr drive from site. Plan accordingly.
If coming by Bus, Denizli bus terminal has shuttle service but do check with bus provider.
There are no lockers on site so keep a backpack along. Shoes are not permitted on terraces so you would need to carry them along.
Don't be fooled by cushy pictures as walk is not on feathers. Calcium deposits are hard textured rock and your feet should be in a condition to be able to handle it.
You would want to take a dip in the terraces for sure, but do take a dip in the running water channel as well. Its fun :)
Town is walking distance from last terrace.
Beware of scammers in the restaurants. Common scams:
Pictures and prices on display outside restaurant might change in the menu inside (prices can double and you won't find the items on display outside in menu inside).
Remember the prices and carefully check the bill. Reconfirm if service charges are included. Insist on getting a bill, or ask for item by item price if they insist on verbal total.
15 and 50 sound similar. Double check as 'one five' or 'five zero'.
Do not buy anything on street before checking its price before you order.
