Navette ponctuelle: coût 60 dollars Cette agence propose de nombreuses excursions au sein de l'hôtel Casa Conde où elle tient un bureau et dans lequel nous résidions. les coûts sont relativement élevés ce qui fait que nous n'avons choisi qu'un excursion sur les 2 que nous envisagions. Par contre celle choisie "croisière au coucher du soleil" initialement prévue sur un catamaran dans leur brochure nous a été proposée en mode "vip" sur un petit yacht et ce fut un super souvenir
- Fortinma00Transport et paddle boardNous avons utilisé les services de Tico tours à notre hôtel le Casa Conde, et avons été très biens servis. Junior opérait le service de locations de paddle board, et nous a très bien communiqué les petits trucs, qui nous ont permis de bien en profiter, Nous avons aussi utiliser leurs services pour se rendre à playa de coco, et encore là impeccables. Ponctuels, d'arrangements, courtois.
- SyD124800Bon guideNous avons choisi une excursion d'une journée dans le rainforest, à l'Arenal volcano et au bains thermaux de la Fortuna ainsi que sa chute d'eau. Magnifique journée bien remplie. Dans le rain forest nous avons pu voir toute une faune hors du commun. Des paresseux, des singes hurleurs, des toucans, un tatou, des nids de tarantules et de beaux papillons. C'est une marche de 3.2 KM dans la forêt par un sentier balisé et 16 ponts à traverser. Ensuite il y a un belvédère où on peut admirer l'Arenal. Ce majestueux volcan qui dort depuis 2008. Le village tout à côté s'appelle La Fortuna et il y a de nombreux bains thermaux chauffer entre 38 et 41C par le volcan. Très belle expérience. Le guide Hansel et son chauffeur Jessy ont été très gentils et nous ont données beaucoup d'informations sur la culture et le mode de vie du pays. Je recommande fortement cette excursion

Ils sont amusants et interessants, en plus d'etre tres bien instruits a propos d'une foule de details concernant leur pays. J'ai appris beaucoup de choses et leur bonne humeur venait s'ajouter a des journees deja super bien organisées!

Hansel and Fabian were such great tour guides! They were so knowledgeable about the area that we were exploring! They made the entire family feel so comfortable and safe while exploring the beautiful countryside! We had my parents who were in their late 70s all the way down to a teenager of age 16 having a great time! Thank you for such a fun day!!

We booked a 2 hour tour during our visit to Costa Rica. Walter was our guide and he was amazing. We stopped at lots of points along the way to learn interesting facts about the trees, the ecosystem, wildlife and culture of the Guanacaste province! The trip had lots of different terrains and was dusty but we were prepared in advance. Walter also took great care to explain the machine and safety so even if you have never driven one of these machines, he made sure we were ready before departing. He also checked in with us to see what “level” of rugged we were up for! We had a great experience and I definitely recommend this organization for a nature tour on wheels!!

The best don’t hesitate, super professional and felt extremely safe the whole time. Prepare for dirt & dust they provide a face cover& goggles. I’d book any excursions through them.

Oh goodness what an adventure! I went with my 6 year old and had an amazing time. We stopped in a local town convenience store where we bought ice cream, which was nice on a hot day. We went to a beautiful beach where they are building the new Waldorf Astoria resort and the water and waves were so awesome. We also stopped by a waterfall where we saw live monkeys - NICE!
One thing - wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. I made the mistake of wearing a light colored outfit and had to throw it away when I got home since the dirt was embedded. You will get VERY dusty and dirty. I brought a water cover for my phone to take pics so the dirt wouldn't get on my phone. Take minimal belongings because anything you take will get dirty. They offered water from a cooler so that was a nice perk too.

From start to finish, this was an excellent adventure. Driving the dune buggy over the mountain, through dusty roads and water holes....driving by little villages and local cows and just enjoying the scenery.... this was an awesome adventure.
Kevin, was the ultimate guide, so accomodating and knowledgeable.
Highly recommend.

Carlos was a great guide! The best part was going up a crazy scary narrow path to the top of a mountain to see an amazing sunset over Panama Bay! It was the most harrowing and fun drive I've ever done (and I've done a lot of ATV driving!). We also went through many streams and dry creek beds that was fun and challenging. And Carlos took us to a great waterfall and encouraged us to jump from the top (probably a 15-ft drop!) which was exhilarating. Carlos was also very patient as we switched between 3 drivers.
We were also lucky that we were the only ones on the tour, so it was like a private tour with Carlos!

With Chris as our guide, we set off on a really fun morning of offroading through the forests of Guanacaste. We were a family of four -- two adults plus a 13 and 11 year old. We always felt very safe following behind Chris -- even traversing across rivers and some pretty rough terrain. We saw some gorgeous views of the region. Great way to take in a lot of the natural beauty of this area in just a few hours, and access areas you simply can't get to any other way.

We were disappointed with this tour. Looking at the advertising and videos we expected more. It just seemed like we drove and drove and drove. Just stopped for a photo op once, and then at Las Catalinas resort area where we bought sandwiches and had 20-30 minutes on the beach. Their advertising mentioned a secluded beach, not a busy resort area! It was during the dry season so it was very dusty. I imagine the dust is less and the scenery better at other times of the year. This was a pricey tour, not really worth the money we paid.

This tour was NOT what we thought it would be! No stopping along the way to see any view points, towns or anything scenic. just one straight shot to a single boring destination turn around and come back home. As we were getting ready to return back a passerby noticed one of the buggies had a flat tire. We were not upset by this as these things happen. We assisted our guide in changing the tire ( he did not know how to use the jack or where to put it ) and we’re on our way. Once we return back to the Tico Tour Office, we were informed that they expected us to pay for the tire. This was a huge shock to us considering we were on a tour driving behind a guide. I would understand having to pay for something like this if we were negligent in someway but we were following our guide who was controlling the speed as well as the destination.
So it is not like there was any opportunity to do anything inappropriate with the vehicle to be blamed for such negligence. We spoke with the owner of the company who informed us that signing up for the buggy tour it’s like renting a car and you are liable for anything that goes wrong with it. So just be warned that your very expensive buggy trip may end up costing you much more money than you expected for something that is totally out of your control.
