The landscapes are beautiful, but to stay in the sunshine and chairs you pay R$ 100,00, but if you want it can be exchanged for a portion, but not the courage to eat in any tent unfortunately. Another negative point is the garbage and dirt that is being accumulated by the tourists and the tents that are not being taken away at the end of the expedition, causing bad smell and birds like albatros and urubu are eating the garbage. I do not recommend paying 100,00 by taxi going and going to this beach.

I went with my husband and my 2-year-old daughter, and already to enter is more complicated and expensive than other beaches. Taxis and even Uber don’t get you for less than 15 reais per person at the entrance of the famous staircase, which is not funny, besides the lines that are made to go up and down, and very dirty, full of trash on the sides, even diapers I saw. When you arrive, you can see a beach, not superior to Praia Grande, the same sand and color of the water, but very crowded and very noisy despite being in low season. At the end of the stairs you are attacked by vultures selling very invasive parasols, taxis, rides, etc. The rent of the parasol and very expensive restrooms, 70 real, that we managed to haggle to 50 at the entrance of the beach, those that associate with kiosks to eat, bad food and packaged coconut water. Then we went around the beach and vultures kept selling us things, and it was a noisier area because the boats with tourists with very loud music arrive. If you are going to relax this beach is not your option and if you go with children much less, dangerous beach and the sea is not calm, many waves.
After being half an hour uncomfortable, we climbed the stairs again to leave, and on the way out again the vultures lurking to sell you the taxi ride. I got in a van with my daughter, the guy told us we had to wait for it to fill up, and the second one 3 men show up without saying anything and they got in with us, it was too synchronized. The one in front looked in the mirror and at nervous and repetitive gestures that I could not pass up. I felt too insecure, so I told my husband and the driver that I felt insecure and wanted to get off. Fortunately he let us off immediately, then we took another taxi but since we were alone, we had to pay for the 4 seats, 60 reais a descent and we were left at the inn. Very dangerous if you go with the family. I don't recommend it, it's not worth risking and feeling that level of insecurity for a photo. Don't go, there are really nicer and quieter beaches in Brazil, for example Copacabana or the beaches of Buzios.

Most beautiful beach of the region of Arraial do Cabo and Cabo Frio... no sound connected, white sand, beautiful landscape, crystal clear water... no live cell phone signal (positive point, because we can turn off and relax, however, in an emergency...)
Negatives: we found no bathroom, there is no coconut water in the coconut and, indeed, industrialized (it could be bottles with coconut water even chilled) and the kiosks are not as structured as those of the northeastern beaches.

The place is wonderful, incredible!!! Incredible beaches. It's a shame that tourists are destroying the place. But it's still one of the best cities to visit.

Horrible. They block you from the parking lot. Don't be fooled by the photos on the internet, they must have been taken at 6am in July... you have to take a taxi and to park on the street they will cost you 30 to 50 reais. No possibility to take photos, very crowded. Upon arrival, they set up a Polish corridor to sell you tours or rent umbrellas. Crowded beach, pig people who don't deserve such a beautiful place. Tip, if you want peace and quiet, go to Búzios with your family, you'll spend even less and you'll have a more organized city! In Arraial, go to Praia do Forno, go on a weekday and arrive early.

Excellent beach! One of the best in Cabo Frio! The place is beautiful, the water is a little cold, but at this time it is very pleasant because of the price! Always negotiate the price of the chair and umbrella!

Complicated experience
There is parking near the stairs but only 100 cars can go up and you have to pay to park.
For those of us who didn't know, we were blocked at the entrance because, after 100 spaces were filled, you can only get in by taxi, which charges 15 reais per person to get on and 15 to get off. If you park your car on the street, you still have to pay the flannel.
The worst part is that no one guides you anywhere but if you get there with a glass bottle, ball and other things you simply won't be able to go down the 258 steps staircase because the “very polite” inspectors will stop you.
We went down and were approached by an army of vendors to rent chairs and umbrellas at absurd prices.
I confess that all I wanted was to read an orientation post before getting there and seeing all this happen.

This is a very crowded beach, you have to get there early, I went late because the stairs looked like an ant hill with people going up and down, taking a photo if it's late is almost a sacrifice lol, but it's worth it, it's very beautiful

Hola! Se llega en Barco, pero también en taxi, Uber o 99. Hay que pagar el ingreso al "parque". Recomiendo ir en taxi y volver en Barco. Saludos!
